Spray Tanning

Prep

Exfoliate and moisturise 24 hours before your treatment, paying particular attention to elbows, knees, ankles and problem-dry areas.

Wax/shave at least 48 hours prior to treatment. This allows the pores time to close. Dotting in pores may appear if not adhered to.

The entire 24 hours before your treatment avoid using bar soaps, high pH shower products or in shower moisturisers

Please don’t apply moisturiser, perfume, deodorant or makeup on the day of your treatment.

Post Care

Let your tan develop for a minimum of 1 hour. It can be left longer for a deeper, darker tan - most clients sleep in it. Recommended is 4-6 hours with a 45-second lukewarm rinse.

Do not touch your tan - You will feel slightly sticky until your first shower.

Do not wear tight clothing for the first 24 hours, if spray tanned topless, it is best to leave your bra off.

Avoid wearing socks or shoes after your tanning session.

Avoid moisturisers - It is best to use a Tan Booster or Gradual Tanning Moisturiser to extend the life of your tan. Use everyday post tanning.

Try not to sweat for the first 24 hours.

Do not apply deodorant or perfume for the first 24 hours (This can turn your tan green).

Do not get any water or moisture on your tan until you shower.

Shower in luke warm water, don't use any body wash or soaps, just rinse off the bronzer and then pat dry.

Do not shave in your first shower.

Do not pee in the shower! The acid will strip your tan off.
